The following short quiz consists of 4 questions and tells whether you are
qualified to be a "professional". Scroll down for each answer. The questions are not that difficult.

1. How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator?

The correct answer is: Open the refrigerator, put in the giraffe and
close the door. This question tests whether you tend to do simple things in an overly complicated way.

2. How do you put an elephant into a refrigerator?

Wrong Answer: Open the refrigerator, put in the elephant and close the refrigerator.

Correct Answer: Open the refrigerator, take out the giraffe, put in the elephant and close the door. This tests your ability to think through the repercussions of your actions.

3. The Lion King is hosting an animal conference. All the animals attend except one. Which animal does not attend?

Correct Answer: The Elephant. The Elephant is in the refrigerator.
This tests your memory. OK, even if you did not answer the first three questions correctly, you still have one more chance to show your abilities.

4. There is a river you must cross. But it is inhabited by crocodiles. How do you manage it?

Correct Answer: You swim across. All the Crocodiles are attending the
Animal Meeting. This tests whether you learn quickly from your mistakes.

According to Andersen Consulting Worldwide, around 90% of the Professionals they tested got all questions wrong. But many preschoolers got several correct answers. Anderson Consulting says this conclusively disproves the theory that most professionals have the brains of a four year old.

dammit, i got the first one wrong, and then figured out the type of questions. Ah well, smart as most pre schoolers.

oh yeah? well I AM a professional.

see if those pre-schoolers know how to IPL a VM/ESA mainframe system or power-on-reset a mutiplatform OS/390 MVS System 390 IBM mainframe and bring up the adabases, cics regions and 204's correctly. 😛

I'll show them little twerps

I don't see what it tests, as I've never seen a test that had questions that corresponded with the answer of previous questions.

It tested my inability to take tests that don't test your testing ability 🙂

Dammit. I said throw the giraffe acroos the river and walk across it. The Fridge should have killed it, rigormortis should have kicked in, and it should have been stiff enough to walk across 😀

One of the most overused words in the English Language. Anyone who is PAID for their services in a particular field is by definition a "Professional"

Words always makes me laugh.

I got #3 right.

#4 has poor wording- "is inhabited by" gives the idea that it is currently inhabited, meaning that the crocodiles did not go to the animal convention either because they were too busy eating you.

At least word it correctly. 😉

ahahhaah
thoes are funny.
But trick questions.
Never is a timeline or location laid down.
Each question should be treated separatly.
It takes a non analytical mind like a childs to think that they can connect thoes questions in ANY way.
