Are you a procrastinator?

I've read several posts where folks are cramming in last minute in order to get tests or essays turned in on time.

What i'd like to know...is...why do you wait till the very last second? Why not do it early and not have to worry about it when the time comes?

if I knew why then I would stop

I just wrote a 1,200 word feature story for my journalism class that's due tomorrow

Something usually comes up that is more fun then doing homework. I only do homework when I HAVE to... like tonite.

I have a natural tendancy towards anxiety. I am not a procrastinator.

I can't understand how it doesn't drive people fvcking crazy not to do the work... get it done so you don't have to think about it anymore.

I procrastinate because I can get away with it and still produce above average results. Some of my best literary analysis papers were written in a rush the night before.

I procrastinate because I have never had much motivation to do my schoolwork--it all gets/is quite easy for me (even Latin). It remains to be seen whether this holds through three more years of high school and then college.

50/50 I would say,
if I can afford to procrastinate or something I don't desire to do,
then yes I procrastinate

this is almost a repost...i've been meaning to ask this question for about 4 years here

the most common reason for procrastination is to give yourself a reason to break the connection between what you can achieve and what you have achieved.

to clarify my post.

if you ever tell yourself this:

"I could have done really well on that test if i would have actually tried"

then my above post probably applies to you
