I was out of work about 8 years ago and one day, while my wife was at work, I felt like I should be doing something so I cleaned the house. I threw out all kinds of stuff that I couldn't think of a use for. My wife has never allowed me to clean the house again.😀

BTW, she went out and dug all the crap out of the trash and we still have it.:frown:

yes because i attach emotions and little stories to almost everything i own so throwing something out is like losing it from part of my life.

la la laaaaa

<-- mental case.

I'm the same way.

I watched a documentary about obsessive compulsive hoarders. Now they are some packrats. This guy had a pile of junk that almost reached the ceiling. Poor people, can't help but hoard useless crap. 🙁

I got a lot of junk, I dont know how I got all this junk...but I got it. 3yrs of college, and it takes more than one SUV load to move.

I have five boxes worth of stuff to bring to goodwill. I move on Saturday so I will probably drop the stuff off to them on Monday.

I took stuff to Goodwill here and they turned me down. 🙁 They sent me to the SPCA junk store instead because they don't take donations in our town.

What??? How else does Goodwill get stuff then?

The new way is they take your call and ask what you have. They have gotten a lot more picky about what they accept.
