if you bought a razr, PSP, and nano within the first month of its release, I would say you are ...

i waited till the razr dropped to $160 (after rebates), but got the PSP the night it came out...still trying to decide if I will pull the trigger on a black 6 GB nano...man those things are sharp...

I would love to have tons of gadgets but I can't afford them. Once they are reasonably priced, I might think of picking them up.

I like gadgets, but usually can't justify their pricetag on launch.

I learned the "gadget price lesson" recently. :(

I bought a PSP earlier this year shortly after they came out on impulse. I bought it when I was in Pennsylvania for a week instead of my native Oregon where there is no sales tax. I bought it in person at a Best Buy. I bought Metal Gear Acid for it, a game that I hadn't previously played to see if I liked and a game that I didn't really like the prequels to. I paid $380 total. $40 of that was fvcking tax or some sh|t.

What do I do? I needed money pretty badly recently and I sold it here on AT for, like, $250.

*slaps forehead*

goddamnit.

No. I don't like most of the portable electronic doodads, they are too intrusive.

Only electronic device on my person 9 times out of 10 is my watch, and its not a digital. I have a cell phone but I don't like to carry it so usually it lives on my desk. I'm just strange, I guess.

I just spent $175 on a new set of 2.1 computer speakers...and that kind of works, because speakers are speakers and they will last for years. But most electronic dodads are fairly expensive, often break, and are soon obsolete.

Buy real estate first...then buy the gadgets once you have at least one appreciating asset.
