Are you a mobile device addict?

In reviewing my toy list I've had to come to terms with the fact that I am addicted to mobile devices. This forum is usually my 1st stop in the morning, followed by XDA
My idea of the perfect evening is to have a fresh micro sd card & a new Rom to play with. I scan the various tech sites looking for announcements of coming new devices, I'm constantly plotting which older toys I'll be trading/selling to upgrade to new ones.

Smaller, thinner, faster devices I am obsessed with them, do you feel the same way?

hahaha i know the feeling. i had my first tablet for about a month before i saw the quadcore i wanted. i also browse xda from time to time and root all my devices.

I wouldn't say I'm an addict. I follow mobile because it's the most exciting area of the tech right now and where everything is headed. Plus I like gadgets.
I'm not into flashing new roms and new things all the time. I will experiment to find and settle on something I like but flashing new roms constantly gets old fast. I do like fancy new hardware but I'm all about value so my purchases are based on my perceived value rather than brand loyalty.

This.

I find having a 10" tablet for use at home, a 7" for use mobile, and a phone is a good combo for my lifestyle.

I've gone 100" portable, I don't even have a TV 🙂

I'm finding having a 13 inch Mac Air, a 10 inch tablet & a phone works for me, 7 inch devices float in & out around here 🙂

If I had the cash, I'd definitely be buying more. But I do spend a ton of time reading, have several Android forums bookmarked, XDA and BGR tabs open all the time.

10-12 years ago, it was motherboards, cpus, and overclocking. Now cell phones and tablets. 😀

I'm pretty committed to buying whatever the latest and greatest tablet is at any given time. I play around with rooting/jailbreaking all my devices to see if there are any benefits. I find that my Apple devices are fine without modding, but it's much more worthwhile to root Android devices and shop around for ROMS. Running ICS on my touchpad and Liberty on my Bionic currently. I suppose I am addicted.

Only my phone. I have a tablet and rarely use it. I have a kindle and use it all the time but if it want a kindle it would be a book.

yep. I'm getting there too. After auditioning an HP Touchpad with ICS (too many things broken)I just got a n ASUS Transformer tf101 and my digital life is complete. between that, my galaxy s2, and laptop I'm always connected!

Mobile gadgets are my toys. Used to be computers, but that hobby is starting to die off.

I got hooked last year with the Nook Color. Been a ride ever since then. I now have the two most powerful Android devices and my wife has the most powerful iOS device.

Hehehe, I kind of blame you for my addiction, I've been hooked since the Nook Color 🙂

Definitely with my Phone. In the last 6 months I've had BB Bold, Droid 3, Bionic, Charge, IP4, Nexus, Droid Razr Maxx
