I'm cleaning up my messy house while watching some TV. A show called "Clean Sweep" comes on the Discovery channel and I'm watching it thinking "Wow, that is just like my place... I guess being messy is a problem a lot of people have."

My problem is that I keep crap that I don't need and it piles up. I clean up this place every once in a while, but it never lasts.

It sucks to be raised by a packrat for a mother. 🙂

My room's messy right now, because I have a tiny room and I never throw out financial statements and stuff - that's what a good portion of the mess is. The rest of the house is immaculate; you wouldn't guess I live here. I'm *concentrated* in my messiness.
 
I'm messy because I can't seem to throw stuff away. Stuff like papers and what not. I always think that I might need them later.
 
I am myself. 10yrs of crap that were piling up, useless boxes, stacks of papers, clothing....all gone now 🙂 My room is small, but with the crap gone, it looks bigger actually 🙂 and emptier, of course!

Actually, yes I am messy. I have to struggle to keep my house clean but lately I have been chunking sh!t that I don't need anymore. I am trying to get to a place in which I organized and everything has its place. One day...

No, I'm not messy. I keep my bedroom in the apartment clean and I do my best to keep the living room and kitchen clean. Almost everyone that comes into either my room or the living room says something about how clean it is. I posted a picture of my desktop and the surrounding area on here once and someone said something about it being very clean, too. No pics of the current setup, but it's clean 🙂
 
I guess I'm a clean person, I take three showers a day, wash my hands frequently, deathly fear trash water and don't eat anywhere else besides the dining table.

 
My parents are some of the messiest people I know, especially my dad. He'll keep stuff that he doesn't need. The worst thing he does is that he doesn't throw out the junk mail, which piles up quickly.
