Are you a leecher?

I hate leechers. Don't you just hate it when you try to be nice and do something once or twice for somebody, and all of a sudden they come to expect it from you from now on? And on top of that they don't even offer any kind of compensation. I'm like who the heck do you think you are?

BTW, I didn't even offer the aid, another colleague asked me to do a favour for another individual. The person benefiting didn't even bother to come up to ask me. Pssh. This is for a weekend car ride, where sometimes we would get off early (night shift) and the trains don't start.

Seeing how she is a female and being out alone is dangerous, I agreed....initially. A few rides later when she didn't bring up compensation, I brought it up. She said no money now, next week. Couple of weeks past and no word from her. She is also a big time slacker and I have to pick up on her slack sometimes. Takes her sweet time to do the job (3hr job turns into 6hrs). Extended and unwarranted breaks. One day I told my supervisor basically this individual to screw herself, why should I stay late and pick up on her slack? So that day she stayed late to finish her duties. She would often try to quietly get away from stuff if I don't bring it up. I don't ask her if you're to do so and so, I basically tell her I've done top floor and left the bottom for you. Things like that. Everybody should be pulling their weight and don't have me chase after them to do their job.

Yesterday a colleague asked me if I have a cell cause he wants to order take out. He asked nicely so I let him. Then today after she found out I have a cell phone and radios me "xx, what's your cell phone #?" 'cause she wanted to order take out as well. WhoTF does she think she is?? I basically told her to use the landline and don't waste my minutes. What makes she think she can automatically assume she can use my phone? Maybe if she ASKED if she may use my phone first I would've obliged.

So....today, I told her upfront next time if she is going to leave early, call a cab. I could've been more of an ass and ask her what makes her think she can use my phone, w/o asking for my permission first?

There's my drama for the day Now let's hear your stories, whether you stopped the leaching (after how long?) or whether you're too kind/weak.

BTW, anybody got a pen I can borrow 😀

Is this a bittorrent thread?

I thought it was at first..

but to OP: after a bit, just make up some excuses and be done with it. when she realizes that you're making up excuses, she'll probably stop asking you to do stuff.

I am not a nice person so people can't take advantage of me.........unless they have bewbies.
