Are you a driver or passenger?

I would definitely say I'm a driver. I get paranoid in cars when I'm not driving.

If my sister is driving me somewhere and shes doing 70km in a 60 zone, I'm scared shes gonna kill me, but if I was driving I'd be going about 85-90 and feel in toal control.

Is it normal to get paranoid like that?

What about you guys?

I am both.. however I do get paranoid with some drivers when I am a passenger. If they dont fall into my "safe driving" category I complain. Mostly its about leaving distance and how much you take care while driving. I dont mind speed also its not too excessive. Its too fast I have to question teh drivers prior driving record and cross reference against what he is doing now and what he can do if something comes up.

But yes I do complain if the guy driving is not upto my standards.

I prefer to drive, but it's mainly just because I find it fun. There aren't many drivers that bother me as a passenger. Mainly a moot point because I'm generally the first to volunteer to drive.

I would say driver ever since I hit a telephone post then a very large Oak tree while riding as a passnger in my neigbors car.

So I told him "I think you better let up on this upcoming corner man"

He said "Don't be a back seat driver please"

Next thing I remember was waking up in the hospital. Doh

Depends, if the people with me in the car don't stress me, then I'd much rather drive. But if they are always telling me what to do when to do it etc etc, I'd much rather be the passenger.

I'm definetly the passenger in my marriage. My wife loves to drive and she handles traffic a lot better than me. I saw a list of the 10 worst places and roads to drive in the US and she's driven through 7 of them. I could do it, but I'd rather not. :)
