Are X3D glasses any good?

I don't know about X3D, but I do have an old pair of Elsa Revelator glasses, and I use them with the nVidia stereo driver. The only game I have that works well with them is Q3A and UT, but I will say that it's a very cool novelty. It also looks really neat playing WC3, but unfortunately the cursor is not a 3D object and becomes invisible when you enable the stereo driver.

I'm not sure how the X3D glasses are different from any other LCD shutter glasses, if they are at all.
