Looking back, it's hard to imagine anyone else being indirectly, but strongly culpable, for the the suffering of these people. I'm sure they want peace just like the Israelis, but they are represented by a terrorist organization whom we railroaded the Israelis to accept as 'peace partners' after Desert Storm, to appease the Arabs and Europeans. If it wasn't for us, Arafat wouldn't get the legitimacy that he enjoys today. Instead, Israel probably would've made peace with the female Palestinian leader that had represented her people for so long. I know Bush Sr. started the Madrid initiative, but it was Clinton that tried to look like a peacemaker, bringing about a false peace that is now showing the true intentions of Arafat.
