German cockroaches just keep on coming. Is this a urbanized issue mainly? They don't bother me tbh. The don't have stingers. Just wondering why they keep coming
 
Fortunately although I do see the occasional ant I don't have any roach's in my current residence. They spread germs/disease and have been known to eat peoples eyebrows while sleeping... which means they'll be crawling ON YOUR FACE if you're infested.

At one point I had what APPEARED to be a very nice apartment in an older building adjacent to downtown Greenwich CT that was infested thanks to some really disgusting and filthy neighbors.

At one point I found them in my desk in my bedroom going after an old candy-bar I'd forgotten and I also had to chuck my coffee maker after I found they elected to "colonize" the water reservoir! (they ALSO seemed to enjoy getting into my weed bag... the only "safe" place was inside the fridge or sealed in a glass jar!)

I lasted less than a year before I broke the lease and bailed out.... they threatened to sue but backed off in a hurry when I threatened to go public with pics of the bugs lol.

The Hoarders episode posted above reminded me of another episode of Hoarders. It was of an older guy living in a home attached to his old business. You could see cockroaches running up and down his shirt as the film crew were interviewing him. A few ran in and out of his pants pockets. The roaches didn't bother this guy. Makes me wonder how people get to this point where they can mentally block it out.

yeah, but it was close.

saltynuts is pretty much stealing that from the great, late, Norm McDonald, and I will have none of that.

Imma see if I can sue that bastard on behalf of Norm's estate.

I saw him in DC c. 2018. I don't think anyone outside of like, 2 people knew then, but he looked bad. He looked kinda bad on his random streaming and radio shows at the time, but still, didn't know. He was great, however.

Glad to finally see him! He was the best.
