Are we allowed to trade DivX in the trade forums? or is that a no no?

DivX codec is not illegal. Its only illegal if you rip dvd/other copy righted videos and distributed them.

i thk there was some guy on these forums who was linking to his MP3...ofcourse it was him singing...rumor has it that it was awful...I think his name was deeko or something...anyways...he could give out his mp3 cuz it was his...it wasn't copyrighted material.
