My watch broke and i havent had time to figure out what new wtach to buy.

in the meantime, i've been using my cell to keep track of time.

now i'm thinking of not even buying a watch since the cell phone does the job perfectly.

Are watches outdated in today's hi tech society?

I haven't worn mine since I started my "8-5". I hate typing w/ a watch on, and my taskbar has one, so screw it.

The only time I wear one now is like if I go out on a date and don't wanna have the cell phone all the time.

I use my watch all the time, specially when you can't have a cell phone or not in front of a computer thats the first thing i look at.

I wear a watch, carry a cell phone, and my PocketPC. It's too big of a hassle to dig out my phone or PDA to check the time. I'd rather just glance at my wrist. Plus, the phone and PDA never keep accurate time. I have to reset the time every month or so.

Nah, lets just get the PDA and the cell phone built into the watch (without increasing its size).

I don't want to have to dig in my pocket for my cellphone just to find the time.

lol

my cell is on my belt.

it doesnt take much more effort to remove the phone and put it back on the belt to look at the time.

I have always worn a watch, and I am so used to it, that I will probably always wear one.
Not that I need to or like to, just that I am a creature of habit.

What kind of phone/provider do you have that you have to set the time yourself?

I relied on my cell phone to keep track of time for a long while. When I started wearing a watch again it felt weird. Plus even if I'm wearing my watch I still look at my cell phone.

I used to wear one all the time, but haven't for the last, oh, five years or so.
