I remember seeing an article about how different versions of the 4in1's can change CPU temp by about 10°C. Does anyone have a link to that?
My problem is that my CPU temp used to be a nice 47°C under load (T-bird 1.4, KT266A). After a year, it crept up to 65°C. I was getting concerned, even replaced the CPU with an XP1600+. Now I am getting 56°C under load. Still too high.
On my nforce system, with another XP1600+, same HSF, I get 45°C under load.
Why is my Via-based PC running 10°C hotter? And is it possible to lower the temp with another version of 4in1?
