Are Veo webcams any good?

Staples is running a 30$ webcam - 30$ MIR deal on a "Veo Stingray" Webcam. I've got a Logitech Quickcam Express right now, and it doesn't really work with win2k at all. Well, win2k or my motherboard. In any case, it doesn't work, and the picture quality was poor even when it did.

Is the Veo even worth getting? I'm thinking the picture quality couldn't be any worse than the Logitech's.
 
The max resolusion is only 352 x 288, so the quaility can't be that good. But is it still free after rebate.
 
Ok, I just got back from Staples.

I gotta say, this thing is a step up in quality from the Quickcam express. The max res is fairly small, like you said, but the quality of the picture it outputs is sweet!

Well, I'm happy now. If anyone's looking for one, the stingray is free as well as decent.
 
I bought one anyway. Free is free. 🙂

Local staples was out, so I ordered one from the site. Should be here in a few days.
