Everyone knows that vampires cant go out during the day because of the sun.

Are vampires worried about new bulb advancements that bring us things like "True Light" bulbs and bulbs that give off a more "natural" light?

Is a bulb that shines the same as the sun even a concern to a vampire or are they only affected by natural light?

I dont think light bulbs put out radiation. So, no.

Until we invent nuclear light bulbs. Then they will be in trouble. :D

It does behave in ways like a particle doesnt it:) but thats not all it is. I am amazed by how many people there are who think radiation isnt something we all arent constantly exposed to...

I might be recalling this incorrectly but I think 50 bananas is about the same REM as a typical x-ray.

Hmm lemme look that up.

We'd first need to do an analysis on the frequencies which are most damaging to vampires.

Fluorescent lights do give off some uv radiation - that's how they work, the mercury inside is used to generate uv most of which is converted by the fluorescent phosphor coating to visible light. Although I recall reading that a whole day's exposure to them is equivalent to less than a minute of actual sun.
