ok I was about to order my laptop parts, but then I saw this... and the 12.1 Wxga really attracted me... BUT what freaking brand is this? I know super talent just rebrands with their name, but sometimes like the asus ones still have the manufactuer's warranty... so please help me out if anyone knows the real brand name of this laptop here:

Uniwill is one of the few top MFR of computers (notebooks specifically speaking)
Any distributors, venders, or resellers and many brand name computer company carry products made by uniwill.
You should not find any particular fault in any major MFR products.
However, you should be weary of products that are placed on the market with extremely cheap price.
Extensive research on such products will save you from buying something that burns out before or right after the warranty expires.

Some interesting Products and fact.
Note- New WSXGA+ LCD are out. Super glossy layer and Ultra wide angle view!
Awesone Graphics display (but Expensive)

This model is sold as the Alienware Sentia and a few other resellers, like Cyberpower are also selling it. So far, I haven't heard of anyone receiving theirs yet though.

I think Uniwill also makes the current Alienware Area 51m, the performance gaming notebook.

Their A64 machine that you linked seems to have some problems with overheating, according to some posts over at Notebook Forums.

...... there is a link under the "Add to cart" button ... marked warranty......

Decent system over all.. but wouldn't suggest it for those involved in professions related to Graphics.
Especially if you are using the latest softwares (eg. photoshop, illustrator, 3D max, Maya...and so on.)
Not saying that they won't run on the system, just that the performance probably will not be at it's best.

A good price for a system to: surf web, chat on line, and run basic programs like MS office.
But of course you will also need to get a good deal on every thing that is not included.
the wording: "Intel Pro/Wireless 2200 IEEE 802.11 b/g support " (not a very clear statement)
kind of make me think wireless is not already included. I would call and ask a sales rep. To avoid having to send it back to have one installed. A wast of shipping fee.
