Are ultra thin recessed LED pot lights standard?

Thinking of adding lighting to one of my room and looking into LED recessed lights.

My concern is, are these things standardized? Like in 5-10 years from now when they start to die, will I be able to get a matching replacement even if it's a different brand? Or is that pretty much up in the air given how new these are, relatively speaking?

Wonder if I am better off just going with regular light fixtures. I might even just put a couple boob lights or even T8 fixtures. The goal is to have some good even lighting, more than looks. But making it look decent is a bonus. I will be building some sort of bulk head or coffered ceiling look to avoid having to go in the attic so whatever lighting I go with will kind of incorporate into the design.

You can get them for very cheap at Amazon. Sometimes they are as little as $5 USD per light on sale so I wouldn't worry about the cost of replacing them.

Chances are you won't be able to match them, but vaguely similar is good enough.

they fit in standard size holes across the industry, so if one fails one of almost any brand will fit in the hole. it may not look exactly the same on the outside, but will be very close.

Good to know at least the holes are standard. Worse case scenario I'd replace them all if they don't match, as long as I don't need to redo the drywall and what not.
