Can anyone figure out the exact time that 3dmark 2003 will be release? since the countdown timer is a simple javascript, i'm sure someone from this forum is 1337 enough to h4x it and figure out. 3D Mark 03 website

i could care less about 3dmark as a benchmark. but what I do care about is the eye candy it provides...thats what its really all about....EYECANDY!!!
 
doing good 'ol guessing, i estimated about 1000 countery thingies passed in 6 seconds, which places it to about 170 per second. that means it will be out in about 15-16 hours.

I wish they made screensavers out of some of those demos... like the nature scene and the ocean scene....
 
this value changes each time you refresh the page:

var pageLoadTimeLeft = 46265139

So, those are probably miliseconds, which would translate to a release at about 11AM MST, 11 Feb 2003.
 
its good to see the eyecandy and to see the results of not the fps but the more detailed results.

Well if you can get an increase in the fps with newer equipment etc then the equipment IS better then your last. But the best way is to see an increase in fps in your actual games that you play.
 
So it will be out when my new $200 Radeon 9700 Pro gets here tommorrow. We'll see how badly it brings the Radeon to its knees. 😀
