It's all about money.

1) sue to prevent teams from leaving, 2) raid the other smaller conferences to save itself just in case. (they now have a top basketball conference, but too bad I hate basketball)

I like it better than the Pro's, but football is still tops in my book

I'd have to say yes. I remember him saying something to the effect of, "This is the worst thing to happen to college athletics in my lifetime" (paraphrasing) when Va Tech and Miami were talking with the ACC. Now that Big East is turning into a basketball powerhouse at the expense of C-USA. I'm not much of a college football fan but I love to watch college hoops and in particular the Big East. So, to me, this whole situation was great for the Big East.
