I have heard that some agp cards are not compatable with new P4 motherboards
Some of the specks for motherboards say compatible with 1.5v mobos only what is this?
I have an Asus v3800 ultra 32meg tnt2 card that has video in/out that I use for home movies and want to upgrage to a p4 2gig
Do I nead a new agp card for this as Im not really into gaming.thanks

Actually it was mostly older P4 boards that only supported 1.5v cards. To the best of my knowledge, TNT2's are 1.5v, the only cards that you might still have that aren't are Voodoo's.

It depends on what mobo you got. I have a msi 845emax and it can not support the AGP2X CARD because 3.3V will broke the mobo. You can find the info of your mobo from the manufacture's WEB.

I was looking at getting the Msi 645e max because it was cheap, reliable with good reviews on the web.
It says it supports 2x/4x but I dont even think my card is 2x ....1x?????????
