Are tie-tacks in style now?

I think I need one. I always tie a windsor knot, but then when I line it up so that the tip of the tie is just above the top of my belt buckle, the short end is usually too high to go into the loop.

I was thinking that mabye a tietack would be a good solution. What do you guys think?

Tie tacks are always a good choice.
If you are worried about the short end coming loose, you could always slip it into your shirt. Your tie is probably too long if you can't get it into the loop.

They are in style if you're a christian...but then most Christians don't really have style do they?

I had to read your post like 3 times to get it. I'm 6'4"....I have that problem with some ties....others, not so much. I think you just have to go through them and check their length. When you find a brand that makes them long enough, stock up.
