Are those LXXX Bit Char G (TOMY rip offs) any good?

They cost half as much as the TOMY branded ones and come with the 3.0 motor on ebay.

How's the quality on them?
I know they're parts are interchangeable with TOMY's.

i got two from a street vendor in hk. came back to the states and put them together... DOA.

i think lxx 3.0 motors are equivilant to a tomy 2.2

Hmm.. maybe you got a bad batch, or the street vendors purposely picked on you 'cuz you looked foreign.

I used to have the Tomy NSX-R. Sold it, then got one of those "Rally Racers" from KB Toys for xmas. I like the buttons on the Tomy-type models better, but the antenna on the RR is much better.

Lol, don't know how that relates, but I don't see why the "Tomy" and non-Tomy's would be any different.

As was stated in "Armageddon" -
