A coworker that I know is taking networking classes. I believe a class will cost you $600.00 They train you for a couple of moths and then you take this long test. You get your score back that day. It's probably one of those scantron test.
Well is he wasting his time with these classes? If he goes in for a job interview and the employer has applicants that actually have bachelor degrees, isn't his application going to be pushed to the bottom of the pile? To me the classes he is taking is comparable to classes you would take at the CHUBB institute of technology.
He showed me what he was learning. Linux and MS something. Sorry I'm not on par with most people here when it comes to technology. I'm capable with technology as I have built my own computers but that's about it.
