Are Thinkpad T2x series and Thinkpad T3x series batteries interchangeable?

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that they are, but I don't have a T30 on hand to check. T30 batteries are way cheaper than T23 batteries ... :|

look up the part numbers on the IBM accessories site, or on the FRU list, they have very comprehensive info on all their high priced items.

Just for the hell of it, popped the battery out of my T30 and put it in my T20. It works fine!

Edit: The T20 battery does NOT seem to fit in the T30, though.
