Hi there...

I've been given a chance to strike what seems to be a great deal concerning a couple o bh-5 equipped memory modules...

The refered memory sticks have w942508BH-5 written in the chips. Can I be sure they are really Winbond's bh-5 chios...??

If there's anyone who can answer please do...

Cheers

Well if the chips say so they should be. Do test it in memtest86 to make sure they don't have any errors.

Where are you getting these?

Well....
Portugal, I'm Portuguese... I reckon you won't be rushing to buy it... 🙂

Thank you, but I was already asure of its authenticity....

Good 🙂

But if I were you, I'd still test it on memtest86 to make sure there are absolutely no faults with the RAM.. trust me on this! I've seen my fair share of maladies caused by faulty RAM, including system file and data corruptions 🙁

LOL!!!

Porque dizes isso storm?

Don't worry my friends... Memtest is a part of my "test suit"... 😀

I'm most appreciated for your help!!!

i once read something about light circular impressions on the memory, should be 2 of them, but then i've seen a lot of ram like that. there are ways to determine it, i've seen links when i googled it. but most probably w/ the bh-5 ending, it's bh-5. what brand is it? sometimes you can determine by the brand and the date it was manufactured.

I had Twinmos BH5s a while back and the coding on the TSOP was similar to yours. It did run 2-2-2-11 on an 8RGA+ at 222fsb dual channel
