I'd like to get a programmable LED sign to hang in my back window so I can adequately express my anger to other drivers.

What about replacing the license plate with an LCD display?

Take a picture of your legal plate and have it displaying 99% of the time. For the other 1% let your imagination run wild. I'm sure people would even have a special switch to either blank it or display an enemy's tag no. when running a stop light with camera or at the toll booths. :Q

I can't take credit for the idea, I've actually heard of a product that does exactly what I want, but it's probably more money than I want to spend.

They've been out for a few years now. Cool, but extremely expensive.

Something like 4 X 18" $12k/ 4 X 19" $14K/ 4 X 22" $19K. Or something close to that.

Cool idea, but those big rims with the rubber band tires look stupid on that SUV. Heck oversized rims with super thin tires look stupid on any car.
