Are they actually gonna make GeForce 4 Ti 4200's. If so, when are they gonna be hitting store shelves? I've looked around on nvidia's site, but I can't find anywhere where they mention the 4200's. I also can't find any mention of them on video card manufacturers websites either.

According to what I read on Anand's review of the GeForce4, the Ti4200 should be available in about a month. It probably isn't out yet because nVidia wants to cash in on the early adopters who want a GeForce4 and won't just buy the Ti4200 and overclock it to get equivalent performance to the Ti4400/4600.

Actaully you will probably see availability about 8weeks from today. Nvidia said the GF4 ti4200 would proceed the other GF4's by about 8 weeks. ANd since the regular gf4's just became available my guess is you need to wait another 8 weeks for so.

Latest rumours put it about 8 weeks away, and some propose it won't be launched for another 3+ months depending upon how competitive ATi's upcoming RV250 core is.

That really sucks. Looks like I'm gonna have to find $80 worth of crap to cut in the new system I'm building so I can get a 4400 instead.
