True. Only problem is i can drive to Tigerdirect 30 minutes away to get the 450 SC. The 460's at Tigerdirect are $170+

NewEgg has a 460 for $159, but i have to wait for the 4-5 day shipping from Ca. :hmm:

edit: the NON SC version is $129

Trust me, it's worth the wait. There is a gigantic gap between the 450 and 460 (the real 460, not the SE). 4-5 days is nothing, go play some classics or emulated legendary games if you must to fill the time. But you'll regret that 450 every damned day when the price just doesn't justify not getting the 460.
 
I brought the 450 GTS lastnight. Im going to return it for the 460 GTX today. Only thing is i have to drive 1 hour to the warehouse store, but it'll be worth it. The price for the GTS came to 150 after the tax. This 460 is $160.. so what the hell. Im paying 10 more for this GTX.

Yeah epic difference 🙂 You'll be much happier.

I don't know why they left such a massive gap in their lineup. The 450 would make a lot more sense if it were priced around 90-100. The '450' name makes it sound like it's almost to 460 level, but it's like you say, the 460 whoops those pants off 😀
 
Alright back from the warehouse. I now have the GTX 460. Was only a $18 difference.. and umm gas for the long ride out there.
 
Seems like you would have saved buying from newegg and doing 2 day shipping, instead of paying gas for two trips and tax.

Yep, but being impatient sucks sometimes you know when the product is 30minutes/1hr away from you versus .. states away 😀

I drove out to my local Fedex airport/drop, to get a package. 50 mile road trip, only to be told it was on the back of a plane and wasn't coming out no matter what. Unless it's pre-planned for a location pick-up , it goes from the plane to the back of a delivery truck.
