great temps, my 1.2 ran at 26/40 and i thought that was great. make sure youre using an appropriate method to measure your max temp, simply running windows wont get the chip all fired up....

I run RC5 and also while runing it i ran about a hour of quake 3.
I also have a fop38 heat sink and fan and put a fan at the top to blow the heat out and cut the hols completely out at the front bottom so it will get all the air it gets also

Those temperatures are great, My athlon(1ghz) is usually around 37C under no load and like 44C in games.

I'm running a Taisol CGK742092 with arctic silver II under the standard fan (not the Delta 38 one). I'm running 1.775V with my 900 running at 1000 (7.5X133) for now. I'm getting pretty high temps... 48C with just RC5 and 54C after some QIII. I'd give anything to get the temps you guys are getting! :).

On a side note though... the case is stuck inside the little cubby in the computer desk and the ambient room temperature is around 26 to 27 C.

With the Abit KT7A, to get a more accurate reading, you MUST bend up the temp sensor slightly, so that is is a little above the socket, then press down on CPU while lockiing it in place. This will assure a positive contact between the sensor and the CPU. If it's not touching, (like the way the board is shipped), your temp will show as lower than it really is.

On the other hand, one of the quickest and easiest ways to lower your temperature, is to push the sensor down, as far away from the CPU as you can. ;)

Geesh... I didn't touch mine... I sure hope at 54C it's not reading low! I'd hate to think I'm running at 70C right now :).

I did drop the voltage to 1.75 (not o/cing much...just 900 at 1000) and temps did respond a little.
