some how iam kinda not satisfied that this is a nic performance for my cooler
so pardon me and my greed

Thats high voltage fot a 45nm intel so those temps are ok. Just be careful with anything beyond 72c or 1.45v for 24x7 use.

i need clarification for this

cause i set my bios to 1.418 v but speed fan shows it as 1.38v

the voltage always drops a bit as it gets regulated on the motherboard, so it will never match exactly what you set in bios. Also, software isn't always accurate

I have the same cooler on my Q9550 and my load temps are ~60'C at 3.6GHz and 1.30v. One of my friends has a Q9400 with the same cooler and his load temps are ~45'C at 2.8GHz and 1.21v (though he had about 5'C avg difference being reported in different programs, it seems to good to be true).

Also yes those are killer voltages for a 45nm according to everything I've read.

1) SpeedFan is not accurate. It's WAY too low on its temp readings compared to HWMonitor and OCCT. I simply use OCCT to monitor my temps when doing stress testing, whether with it or Prime or Linpack.
2) Take your voltage down. There is no way you should need 1.418V for a 4 GHZ E8400. I'd max it out at 1.3750 taking VDroop into account. At those settings my E8600 system shows a steady 1.30 V under load. These chips are rated at 1.3625V maximum. Your chip is valuable, it should be protected.
