Idle temp seems a little on the high side to me. Should be OK tho.

Adding a decent 120mm/140mm front case fan might help you out somewhat on your temps if your worried about it.

The GPU temp is higher than I like to see, personally. Even your CPU is quite warm considering you run it at stock speed.

Any suggestions? Maybe I should put 120mm fan at the side of the case like Kenmitch said

yeah if you have a 120mm laying around.if not open the side panel for a wile and see if that helps.

gpu is getting pretty hot you can download evga precision or msi afterburn and turn your gpu fan up to about 55-60.

btw what is the room temp?

Improving the temps is just a waste of money and time. Unless you want to OC.

85C for the GPU is no problem at all. Its G92 and quite normal. Hell my 8800GT was 90C and it still runs flawless today at the person at gave it to.

HD4870 cards hit 125C, they still run fine today as well.

Some people seems very confused about temps....

And no, high temps wont lower its life either.

The temps may be within acceptable limits but I don't like them that high.

My Powercolor 7850 was hitting 85C under load and once I put a Twin Turbo II cooler on it, it went down to 50C under load.

It's probably not worth it for the OP to do that, and unfortunately in my experience better case cooling has little effect. I'm not sure what to suggest.

Thanks all for the replies. I live in India so the temperature is around 32-33.
I'm less worried now as many have stated as it's just fine.

I am already using Msi afterburn to run the gpu fan at 60.

Dude, I own one of those 4870s, if you're heavily using them, they are NOT good at 125c.. they'll shit all over your chest within a year.

I put a HR03gt on it 2 years back, now it tops at 65C.. pretty damn good for this gpu.

LOL, just removed my 5870 to sell and replaced with a TINY 5450 (the thing can be used as a half-height). Idle temps dropped about 3C...:)
