Are these speakers ok for my room?

I dont want anything too big, this is for my room, our main home theater is downstairs, just 2 speakers and a sub would do

Save up another $200-300, find a friend who works at BB or CC who will buy with discount.

You cant get much for $200

You should checkout their forums. Alot of people are very happy on how those sound or ask Viperoni on this board. He should be able to give you some more infos on those.

A 5.1 system for $200... i can tell you right now that they blow. If you already have an HT system downstairs, why would you want to use the cheap crap upstairs?

so I can watch movie in bed, and most of the time when my friends come to my house, we go to my room so I never really use the stuff downstairs

I seriously think I'm going to build the BR-1's.....I'll see if they sell them without tweets since I have 4 of them lying around here already

The BR-1's dont come prebuild, and it's not too hard to build them yourself, since all you need to do is assemble and solder the crossovers together. The cabinets come premade and prefinished.
