Are these parts compatible! I need you to be 100% sure!! Cause if i have to return it ill be pissed i need this completed by a deadline.

And so the answers you get might not be quite what you want or expect. Just saying, best to post hardware questions appropriately and leave this forum for questions about games.

on second thought, i guess there are incompatibilities now...just in a different sense. like a AMD chip wont work in an intel motherboard.

we used to have to deal with the unforeseen incompatibilities though. now that was a pain.

Yep, now they have 7.1 DTS audio on the motherboards. I just found a receipt for a soundblaster pro for $110 from 1993.

Also don't forget when you had to map your memory just to get some games to run.
