Are these parts compatible?

Hello,

I am about to buy some parts for a new computer that will be used mainly for rendering.

I have a 1TB hard drive and a Radeon 5670 which I am planning to reuse (I am not much of a gamer) and I also consider buying the following parts and I would like to know if they are compatible with each other and if they will allow me to overclock to about 4.5-4.6GHz.

Intel Core i7-2600K

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB)

Crucial M4 64GB

Antec NEO ECO 520C 520W

HYPER 212 Plus

For motherboard one of these:

ASUS P8Z68-V PRO (Gen3 not available from where I am buying)

OR

GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3

From where I am buying my choices are a bit limited. I could buy this RAM which is basically the same as the one I posted earlier but not low profile.

Regarding the motherboard, I was looking for something with firewire and only the more expensive boards seem to have this feature.

The GIGABYTE is cheaper than the ASUS, but would it overclock as easily? The last 5 computers I build I used Asus motherboards. Never used Gigabyte before.

How about the cooler and the PSU? Would they be fine with the OC I am aiming?

I figured that since my video card doesn't need much power that 520W would be more than enough (40A on a single 12V Rail), and the cooler seemed fine for the not so extreme oc I want.

It would help if you posted the site that you're buying from so that we can take a look at the parts and give suggestions. A cheap way to get firewire is usually to just buy a $10 or so PCI/PCIe card. That way you get the ports and can move it between builds.

The PSU is fine, even if you somehow double the power draw of your i7 via overclocking, the whole system will draw far less than 300W. 4.6Ghz will be a little loud with the 212+, but is definitely achievable.
