Are these online pharmacies/drugstores reliable ?

Hi guys.

I don't have medical insurance/plan and i'm concerned about the price of antibiotics. I've been to the doctor a couple of days ago and, aware of my situation, he gave me some antibiotics samples that should be enough to take care of the infection.

Even if he didn't say it, it was obviously a 'one-time' favor and mentionned that if the sample pills haven't killed the infection, he'll prescribe me the required medication but warned me that it was expensive.

I've been browsing the net and have found huge prices differences from one online store to another.

Have any of you had any experience with online discount drugstores/pharmacies and the generic antibiotics they're selling ? Is it reliable ? Are the medication genuine, even as generic ? Is it legal to order from them ? and so on..

I'll appreciate your inputs.

I have never seen an online pharmacy whose prices are remotely as cheap as having a valid prescription and filling it at a discount pharmacy, not even for antibiotics or other non-controlled substances even when you have a valid prescription.

As with any other product, prices vary from one pharmacy to the next. Shop around in your area. Also, ask the physician to prescribe the nearest generic equivalent of the antibiotic instead of the brand name drug. There is a little box on prescription pads now that give the pharmacist approval to dispense a suitable generic equivalent [or not].
