Are these network connections normal?

When I check network connections under Norton's "Statistics" for Norton's Personal Firewall 2002 I see these "active connections:"

MPREXE.EXE
OUTLOOK.EXE
SYMPROXYSVC.EXE
WCESCOMM.EXE
ICSMGR.EXE
NAVAPW32.EXE
IEXPLORE.EXE

The reason I ask is that I have NetStat Live and the outgoing and incoming file transfer amounts are almost 50/50. For some reason, it doesn't appear right to me. Am I paranoid? Thanks for your time.

First look, these executables are all "OK." Now, we're assuming some script virus isn't turning your copy of Outlook into a virus-spamming monster, of course.

How would I determine this TallGeese? Thanks for your reply and time.

I concur with Tallgeese, your file's list look normal.

If you don?t do any big download, close to 50/500 is not abnormal.

Norton FW has a dynamic statistics option. Look at it at the bottom of the statistic page it shows the ongoing actives. Connected to the Net but do not surf and see if it shows unusual traffic at rest.
