1. This doesn't make sense:

"VTech TNT2 32Mb Ge-GForce AGP" -the TNT2 and the "Ge-Force" are 2 different cards.

2. It is good. Arguably the best out there.

3. Probably the Maxtor, IMO.

4. Don't really know

5. Don't get ECC, it's mainly used for servers, you don't really need it.

What other system components are you getting?

1. VTech TNT2 32Mb Ge-GForce AGP (never heard of it though) (2nd place - 3DFX Voodoo III TV 3500 - AGP)
2. CL Value is great
3. Western Digital 20Gb ATA66
4. Dont know - probably good
5. SDRAM 128MB PC-133 168 PIN - Certified 150MHz (ECC is not needed unless your running a server)

VTech TNT2 32Mb Ultra AGP - Nvidia-Riva TNT2 Ultra chipset
**VTech TNT2 32Mb Ge-GForce AGP - Nvidia-Riva Ge-Force chipset

** i think they meant VTech 32Mb Ge-GForce

1.if "VTech TNT2 32Mb Ge-GForce AGP" is a geforce based chipset, than thats the best

2.cl sb value is a great card at a great price

3. another vote for the maxtor hdd, fast and quiet from what ive heard. wd is also a good drive, but i belive the price per gig is higher than the maxtor drives.

4.not shure about the case specifically but i know enlight makes good cases, and that number sounds famillar, probably a good case =)

5.ecc ram is not really worth it.

Can I recommend a Pentium III 700E? Almost every one of those has been overclocking to 933MHz+ and they're under $275.

You should only take that with a grain of salt, considering it is put out by AMD. Besides, why spend $419 (SE) on a 900MHz Athlon when you can spend $215 on a 700MHz pIII and o/c it faster than your Athlon, which is almost double the price? Use the extra dough and buy an 815motherboard and some cas2 pc133.

1) "VTech TNT2 32Mb Ge-GForce AGP"

? This card doesn't exist. It's eithe TNT2 or Geforce based. If it's Geforce based then it's the best one here. Second choice is the Matrox G400 32mb.

2) Creative Lab Live - Value is a great card. My friends and I all use it and love it. I have one driving my Klipsch Promedia 400s (farkin awesome speakers and farkin awesome EAX goin).

3) Well it depends if you need 30Gb or if 20 is enough. Personally I (my friends, and clients) only use Quantum and WD as second choice.

4) Enlight cases are great in general. I don't know this model specifically but it depends on # of drives, motherboard, cooling needs, PS needs etc...

5) ECC isn't important for personal (non server) use. And I doubt you are ever going to run anything on a 150MHz bus however if you can get 133 (150 Cert) for no extra cost then go for it. (Who makes these SDRAM modules?)

6) "Samsung 12X DVD"

? IMHO You would be better going with a Pioneer 10x/40x (or and AOpen....which is a remarked Pioneer with slightly better Firmware).
