Are these good prices for a 2015 WRX?

I was able to find a dealer in New Hampshire that will sell me a WRX at these prices:

Base WRX - $25,448
Limited WRX - $28,795

add $350 for a processing fee.

The Limited WRX adds the following features on top of the base model:

Heated leather seats, LED daytime lights, moonroof, fog lights, truck spoiler, welcome lighting and heated wipers/side mirrors.

This equals about 2% off invoice. Good deal or not? Is the limited worth $3300 more?

I would be getting rid of my 2004 WRX and this would be my do it all car.

I'm open to any other cars or car combinations as well.

CARS I'VE CONSIDERED: BMW 135/335, G37, Last gen STI hatch

Personally that limited wrx is getting VERY close to a whole wide range of car.

I even looked up the Focus ST and I wanted HID's, but in order to get it I would have to add leather, SYNC, and some tech package putting the MSRP close to $28k. I've heard of heavy discounts from dealers but honestly its still FWD and this WRX beats in performance categories and has more trunk space/rear passenger space.

I personally wouldn't pay the 3300 for those features. I'd like the fogs, but those could probably bought for 300-400 bucks. if you like leather and or the moon roof, I don't think it's a huge premium. In that car, I think I'd prefer the cloth seats.

Really the only option I want on top of the base is the LED headlights and I'll buy the add on auto dimming rear view mirror but that can be applied to any of the models

I don't know if this is bad or good but if I wait one more year the new Mustang with its turbo 4 or GT comes out :)

The new Toyota Corollas are in early this year I see.

The only thing missing is the hood scoop.

As others have mentioned, you have a lot of options if you are looking at a @28K car.

What are your "must haves"? If only the WRX fits what you want, then that is the car for you regardless of price.

Pretty much this. In that price range you won't really find a proper substitute for the WRX, competitors yes but substitutes probably not.

Do they not do the premium anymore? I imagine you are buying from Manchester. That is where I got my premium WRX. Premium had the heated fabric seats, moonroof, extra speakers, heated mirrors/wipers, fog lights for 2k more.

i really wanted a WRX as my next car. Almost bought a 2013. Wasn't too pleased with the interior, but found the hatch extremely appealing from the outside. Then I heard they are redesigning it. Waited around with excitement but ultimately let down because now they don't have a hatch version anymore. Plus I think the previous gen looks better than the current WRX...
Hopefully they will have a hatch out soon.

I guess my criteria is what is the best sporty daily driver for under $30k. Leather and HID's are two of my top options I want in a car.

and yes they sell the premium but I'd rather buy base because I could do without those options.

How do you define "sporty"?

The FR-s/BRZ are pure drivers cars (like a Miata or RX-8), but they do not make big HP or Torque (like a Miata or RX-8).

The Mustang V6 with the Sport package offers 300+ HP and is a blast with a manual without relying on a turbo or supercharger.

The Mazda3 MazdaSpeed, Ford Fiesta ST, and Ford Focus ST are the best "bang for the buck" in a hot FWD hatch. (The VW GTI is the more refined hot hatch)

The Hyundai Genesis Coupe comes in various flavors (4cyl-Turbo or V6)

You can also find Gently used C5/C6 Corvettes for under 30K.

At @$30K you have tons of options if you are not set on on AWD (eg WRX).

I forgot to mention I want RWD OR AWD

Edit: I have considered BMW 135/335, Last gen STI hatch, G37, and yes I've entertained the idea of the current mustang but with the new one coming out I'd rather get that, C6 vette as well

When the 2015 Mustang starts to hit dealers, they won't be able to give away 2014s, and the used market prices on 2010-2014 GTs will see a sharp decline in prices.

I think the 2015 is a great looking car, but if I was in the market for a RWD V8, I would get a 2010-2014 when the prices get slashed.

I'd wait for the 2015 Volkswagen GTI personally. Car looks absolutely killer from the previews I've seen so far, although it's not an AWD/RWD.

Yeah I'm actually looking right now for used Golf R's and GTI's. The GTI looks like a way better deal, but AWD is nice too.

I am so cheap I can't pull the trigger AHHHHH.

I think I'm going to actually wait till the magazines put out specs for the new WRX or I can test drive one. I'm just hoping its quieter than my current ride.
