Are these good HDtach results on my Maxtor HD? Thanks

Is this good results on my Maxtor 45 gig 7200 rpm , ATA 100 , three 15 gig platters , and < 8.7 ms seek time.
This is my only HD i use so its my boot drive.
here are the HDtach results and i am on win2k pro , on a Abit KT7A raid mobo , using VIA 4.32 with all the drivers that came with it because i didnt know not to use the ide drivers from via but it doesnt seem it makes any difference with or without the via ide drivers, i have SP2 on win2k btw , and this HD is on IDE 3 on my mobo because my cd-rw is on ide 1 and cd-rom on ide 2.
i tried my HD on ide 1 before but its the same speed on ide 3 and ide 1 or any other.
But just wondering if this is good results on my maxtor HD. Want to make sure i am getting what i should. BTW i never had the red lines go way down and then back up again like on some of the WD , IBM , etc HDs charts i see on HDtach.

is your hdd on an ata66 controller as you burst is on the low side??

Your readings don't look too far off, here are mine with a Maxtor ATA100 40 gig drive on an ATA100 controller.

hey is on win2k pro got anything about it?
pretty sure windows 98 and windows me were close to the same but the acess time was less
like 9 to 11 ms in win98SE/windows me when i tried before.
i am on a abit kt7a raid mobo and the one HD is on IDE 3 i tried it on IDE 1 just to see but that makes no difference and plus without the via HD ide drivers and with the Ms ones instead make no difference either

BTW OJ how did you get such a fast max. transfer rate? But why is the seek time so high and why do you got the red lines going up and down. I never had that happen and this is my boot hard drive. i dont have 2 HDs only one.

I'me not sure why the graph is all over the place, but the OS is Win2000 Pro. Atto is a better benchmark I am told, it is more consistant.
