Are these AMD 3500+ processors the same?

I would guess that they're the same. The TigerDirect link doesn't mention if that one is a Winchester though.

It appears not. I'm guessing that they're different cores because the Newegg one is 2.2ghz and the tiger direct is 2ghz. The Newegg one is 90nm, and the tigerdirect is 0.13 micron

NOT the same. The TigerDirect one says that it's 0.13 micron. The Winchester on NewEgg is 90nm. The chip shown on TigerDirect is the Newcastle core. They've either got the specs wrong, or they've got the wrong model number listed for the product. Either way, I'd stay away if you have your heart set on a Winchester.

Anyway, does ANYONE know where I can find the 90nm Winchester core 3500+ retail AMD 64? I'm under the impression that they're for sale ... but I can't find it anywhere.

thanks,
telstar

K thanks alot because I was very confused about this. I looked at the model # and stuff and that seemed ok but I was still wondering why they seemed to have left out the core.
