I've been having some trouble with my rigs (here), and I'm trying to figure out if my problem is the PSU. I have a ThermalTake 430W.

How old is your TT 430w, the only decent Thermaltake anything at the moment is the 'Tough power' series of PSU's if it is a problem with the PSU make sure you identify what voltages you are getting on the 3.3v and 12v rails- this can usually be found in the bios.

Not exactly crap, but you can do better for the money.

I'm given to understand that Corsair has some mighty good bang-for-buck PSUs out there these days...

Antec Earthwatts = Maximum performance/value for your $. I'd reset the BIOS and run system at stock settings to check for stability. If okay, then the problem is NOT the PSU.

Also swap the PSU from another rig if you suspect the PSU is defective.

An excellent replacement PSU is the Antec Earthwatts 380 @ NewEgg. $20 AR with free shipping.
