Are Thermaltake Orb and Titan Majesty same CPU cooler?

I have been wondering if Thermaltake Orb and Titan Majesty are one and same CUP cooler. I would like to know if they are acctually same coolers because here in Finland you can find Titan Majestys but no Thermaltake Orbs.

Those two look suspiciously identical. What do you think?

I think they are. But I don't know it to be a fact. Honestly, an Alpha PAL-6035 is a much better choice. Yes, they're expensive, but if your wallet can make the stretch...

According to the distributor here in U.S., they are completely different companies. But you are right about their heatsinks looking the same though... I wonder why??

Who did you get your info from?

This question came up several months ago in another forum. I e-mailed Thermaltake, and they replyed that the Titan is a Thermaltake. It is simply repackaged as the Titan Majesty in a distribution agreement.

If you go to the Titan Majesty site, one of the pictures there shows the bottom of the heatsink with the Thermaltake name clearly visible.

cdrakejr, thanks for the info. The distributor (Asco) that carries Thermaltake and Power Cooler product told us that they were different companies. But I think now that Titans are just rebadged Thermaltakes.

Thank you all for solving this 'mystery'. Does anyone know if Chrome Orb fits into Abit KT7-100 Raid mobo?

I have a Chrome orb currently mounted on my KT7-RAID board. You just need to bend the green capacitors slightly(with care).
Here is a pick of the SuperOrb on the KT7. The SuperOrb is the same diameter as the Chrome.

There is a chorb (chrome orb) that fits on the Abit k7 without bending the caps. It's a revised model just for this MB. It's still a very tight fit. I got my from CoolerGuys:
