Are there video cards that can output DVI at 1600 x 1200?

I just noticed that my Leadtek Ti500 card can only do 1280x1024 through the DVI connnection and I was thinking of buying a Dell 2000FP 20" LCD that does 1600x1200 native

Radeon 7000, 7500 and 8500 cards support DVI resolutions of up to 1600x1200

Are you sure? My leadtek GF3 (old one) does 1600x1200 through DVI onto my Dell 2000fp (and, thanks to the Silicon Image chip, has better image quality than the Radeon 8500). Have you tested it out? I've read a few people using the Leadtek Ti500 at 1600x1200. Are you going by the specs (which just quote the max DVI spec) or actual experience?

I'm going by the specs, but I don't want to spend 1350 on the monitor just to find that it doesn't work at the native resolution. It works fine for you? Are you happy with the 2000FP?

Oh yes, very happy with it. I replaced a Compaq TFT8020 with it (also good LCD). Before that, had a top of the line Sony GDM-F500R 21" Monitor (.22mm AG Stripe Pitch, tightest stripe pitch 21" monitor tube ever) as well as a 22" Mitsubishi 2040u (.24mm AG Stripe Pitch).

OK thanks for the advice. Also can you tell me how you like the 2000FP compared to your tube CRTs? I'm running a Sony CPDE500 21" right now which is great, but the text is not as sharp as I would like it at 1600x1200. Also, do you know if you can run both monitors (one LCD one CRT) at the same time on the Leadtek cards that have both DVI and analog connectors?

Thanks

Bringing this one back from page 5. I just got my Dell 2000fp and I am having trouble with it. I have a LEADTEK GF3 non-ti using dvi@1600x1200x32. There are little lines that shoot across the screen. Has any body had this problem or know how to fix it?

I absolutely love the 2000fp compared with those two leading edge CRT's. The .22mm F series Sony (F500, F500R, F520, etc) is reputed to be the sharpest AG based CRT available, leaps and bounds ahead of the G520 and E series. However, the LCD is in a completely different class. There's no comparison for sharpness and text clarity.

You cannot run both on the Leadtek at one time, as the GF3 is not dual display capable.
