Are there usually electric outets at airport terminals?

While I've never actively looked for one, the times I've been in an airport I've never really noticed one. But I suppose you could check the walls. They have to plug in vacuum cleaners and what not somewhere.

Of course, how do you think they run the floor buffer or other cleaning equipments?

Some, are hidden so you have to look hard.

They have them at the DC National airport, Dulles, and Detroit from my last three flights...

Depends. In about half of the airports I've been in, I've been able to find one that works. If you do find one, don't worry about getting yelled at by airport people, everybody does it.

But I do remember one aiport (can't remember which) that actually had proprietary wall plugs so nobody could use them!
