lol clearly some of you haven't flown on a plane in a while. The in flight movie list has R-rated movies. Big deal. I'm wondering when shows like Spartacus are gonna get in there. Just don't be a weirdo and keep replaying that Animal planet scene with the 2 animals mating and I'm sure people will be fine.

Porn is a no-no. The rest is fine. The only issue I'd have with Zack & Miri Make a Porno is that I would look stupid laughing out loud.

Would you get in trouble for watching that clock timer and saying "allah akbar" over and over again?

In a public location discretion helps make society a better place to live. Watch whatever you want in private but being forced to sit next to someone watching highly offensive material doesn't help us all get along.

I had to take a three-hour bus ride once with some of my coworkers. The bus was equipped with a DVD player and TVs mounted every few rows. One lady stood up and asked if everyone would be ok watching "Knocked Up". I raised my hand and asked for something less raunchy. She stared at me for a few seconds, popped the video in, and made everyone watch the film. It made for a very uncomfortable ride as you had no choice but to listen since the bus had speakers rather than headphone jacks like airplanes.

I'm sure some of you will say "Boo! What a wuss! Prude!". I really don't care. The point is that we all need to have respect for each other in order to make this world a nice place to live. Questionable movies in a setting where others can't just leave doesn't help that end.

Yeah, I would also have issue with that. Forcing everyone not only to watch, but also listen to such a movie is indeed disrespectful and annoying.

I agree with keeping kids in line but can you really expect 100% compliance from a 5 year old? they got to pee sometimes too and nobody should be watching porn on a plane so a kid might peer over and see it, I can't believe that 3 hours without watching naked people is gonna be so invasive..

i never said you should watch porn. but zack and miri isn't an actual porn. and yes, i expect my six year old to sit in her seat on an airplane. if she needs to pee my wife will take her to the bathroom, and she isn't allowed to go around bothering the other passengers.

I saw Zack and Miri on a flight. It was an option from the in-flight entertainment.

I don't see the big deal.

I don't have a 5 year old but a plane is a confined space, there's not much "privately" about it, I can see making sure your kid doesn't make him/her self a pain to other passengers but to expect a kid not to glance at a glowing screen is kinda dumb, maybe you could just wait till the plane ride's over, is 2-3 hours without watching blowjobs gonna inconvenience you that much?..

Is 2-3 hours of actually paying attention to your kid too much for you? Then you should never have kids either.

I'd personally not watch porn on a flight, but if I can choose between an annoying kid whose parents are too damn incompetent to look after it and keep it behaving properly and someone watching some porn in silence without publicly masturbating or otherwise bothering me I'd pick the second. I'd be willing to pay extra for a flight without misbehaving kids.

Zak & Miri was a terrible movie, but it was not particularly explicit.

I wouldn't watch actual pr0n on an airplane or a really over the top movie like Caligula, but other than that I'd put on whatever I wanted. Other people's kids aren't my problem.

So every parent must monitor a kid every second even to the point to see where it's looking around for a few seconds?. I know, if parents have to use the restrooms for a few minutes they could force blindfolds on kids?. Again, I agree with watching your kids but if a parent gets distracted for a short time no kid should accidentally see Peter north blasting away, just can it till the flights over IMO..
