are there really that many people in the market for poker chips

there is a constant list of clay poker chips on ebay, i am looking for 500 and there seems to be one being sold every couple of minutes at all times

its crazy to me that so many people are buying poker chips from ebay? do the companies just buy their own so it looks like a demand and they all go high or what?

oh... He had like all these chips from different casinos and special event chips and old ones, new ones, etc. They were actually pretty cool.

Since the advent of poker on TV a lot more people in highschool are playing. So I guess that could be a reason for an increased demand for poker chips...
