Are there really 'suicide missions' in the military?

first off yes there have been some that can be considered "suicide missions" heck there was a bunch in WWII. some fine books (can't remember the name of some off hand) that detial what happend when and where.

one they really did not expect to make was the bombing of japan after pearl harbor. (do a search on doolittles raiders (i think thats what they were called))

2nd) you would not be chosen. you do not have the mental ability to handle such a risky mission.


3rd) get help. you sould like you need it.

Yeah, your life is far from over. It's no big deal that you've only had one girlfriend. Don't measure your own self-worth based on that one fact alone. Hell, I'm 20 and I've only had one girlfriend, but I'm still totally in love with life.

Get a cool hobby, find something you really enjoy and do that. I found the guitar and it has enriched my life a lot. Cheer up bud, things will get better! 🙂

 
I think you should join the military. You will go in and make some great friends. You will rethink your position on life then. If you want a suicide mission, join al Queda. If you want to be a man and have direction in life join our side and go kill some al Queda SOB's.

You see there's perception "A" which is how everyone else sees the world... our desires, our wants... none of which include killing oneself if you can't find a woman by age 24...

Then there is perception "Z" which is crazy, delusional... and absolutely incredibly warped... this is where your perception is. You need to see professional help to try and slide your perception back towards "A".

I'm 27(almost 28) I met the woman I'm going to marry when I was 26. By your thinking I should be dead and gone by now and would have missed my shot.

My uncle didnt get married til he was 35... he met the woman of his dreams and is very happy now.

My cousin met his wife when he was 42.

Stop being such a panzy... the rest of us can wait... what makes you so special that you have to have what you want faster than everyone else?

Actually the Doolittle raid wasn't originally a suicide mission until the planes were forced to launch early, without enough fuel to reach china. Casualties were expected to be very high, but they did expect some of them to make it.
