I think there are definitely people like Harvey in the real world, but they are very selfish - you can't have everything in the world after all (great job, amazing technical skills, so many contacts AND a proper family life).

Total man crush on Harvey. Unfortunately I've worked in a big NY/Wall Street law firm and he doesn't exist.

His style is impeccable. If you watch Royal Pains (also on USA), the only comparison is Boris (the guy that owns the castle/house).

Gabriel Macht nails this role IMO. The only other thing I remember seeing him in was Archangle where he played a reporter in russia... rather unimpressive acting there.

I was addicted to Suits season 1+2 but I didnt even make it all the was through season 3. Too much love and bullshit drama. The Litt jokes are all old and predictable.

Yeah, I like the guy in this show. He was also the pilot in Behind Enemy Lines with Owen Wilson/Gene Hackman. And then I came across him as the lead actor in S.W.A.T.: Firefight. Yeah, it was as bad as you would expect.

I've worked with some sales derps who would put Harvey to shame. They have 3 answers to every objection you give them and that's before you even offer and objection.

The downside is those types of people generally are so self absorbed that they aren't anyone I care to know personally. It is amazing to watch in action though. Our CEO right now is one of those guys. I've gone toe to toe with him before and I can tell you that I was outmatched big time.

Yeah, I've worked with some guys like that, we call 'em "sharks". Definitely the kind you want on your team, not against you :biggrin:

They just have crazy-fast synapses in their brains for vocal situations, especially in the argument arena. I usually forget what my name is about five sentences in, haha.

I have met people in different places that I have worked that just put me in awe. I feel like I am very knowledgeable in my career, and I am confident in myself, but I also realize I do not know everything.

I have met people that seem to know everything, or in other words, they are so confident that whatever they say turns to gold. These charismatic people, with indefinite knowledge, have always amazed me. They may not be as good looking as Harvey, or make as much money, but they are very much on his level in their own way.
