I'm in Vancouver, BC and most of the ma 'n' pa hole in the wall computer stores have as good or better pricing than any online site... Maybe we're just lucky here... I know CD's in Vancouver are suposed to be the cheapest in the world. It's hard to find any new release for over $13cdn here...

Fry's has the occasional good deal but a lot of their stuff is priced the same as a Best Buy/Circuit City/CrapUSA. And yes, there are no good B&M computer stores in the US

Yeah, you can't really build a computer at Fry's but they've got *awesome* deals on a couple components all the time. I guess you could put together a whole computer at a good price in a couple months just waiting for each individual hot deal to come up. ;)

At least Fry's sells componenets at decent prices, as long with other neat electronics stuff. Plus, Fry's has excellent stores :)

I love Fry's!

Yo,
There's a B&M Chinese restaurant around the corner from my office, coincidentally, in SF.
